AUCTIONEERS GROUP

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Welcome to International Auctioneers Group (“IAG”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of www.internationalauctioneersgroup.com, related digital services, and any auction opportunity made available through our website or linked bidding platform.

International Auctioneers Group is a brand operated by the relevant legally registered IAG group company or authorised affiliate identified in the applicable auction notice, bidder registration form, invoice or contract. By using this website, registering for an auction, submitting a bid or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services
International Auctioneers Group provides professional auctioneering, asset-disposal, valuation and related support services. Depending on the assignment, auctions may be conducted through online auctions, live public auctions, online sealed-bid auctions, physical sealed-bid auctions, or any other method clearly stated in the relevant auction notice. Each auction is governed by these general Terms together with its specific auction notice, bidder registration requirements and special conditions. Where there is any difference, the specific auction conditions take priority.

2. Website Information
We aim to keep information on this website accurate and up to date. However, asset descriptions, photographs, quantities, locations, dates, values and availability are provided for general guidance only and may change without notice. Users must independently inspect and verify all relevant information before bidding or making a business decision.

3. Eligibility and Registration
To participate in an auction, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract; provide true, complete and current registration information; submit valid identification and any required company documents; meet all stated deposit, payment, compliance and eligibility requirements; and accept the auction-specific terms before bidding. We may refuse, suspend or cancel registration where information is incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful or inconsistent with the auction requirements.

4. Auction Methods and Bidding
Online auctions: bidders may place bids through the designated online platform. The system records the bid amount, bidder account and time of submission. A bid is binding once submitted, except where the applicable auction terms expressly allow withdrawal or amendment.

Sealed-bid auctions: bid amounts remain confidential until the stated closing time. Bidders must submit their offer before the deadline and in the required format. Late, incomplete or conditional bids may be rejected.

Live public auctions: bids are made openly at the auction venue or through an approved live-bidding channel. The auctioneer may regulate bidding, resolve disputes, refuse unclear bids and determine the highest valid bid, subject to the seller’s approval where applicable.

5. Reserve Prices and Seller Approval
Some assets may be subject to a reserve price or seller approval. The highest bid does not automatically create a sale where the reserve price has not been met, the seller has reserved a right of approval, the bidder has not met registration or payment requirements, or there is an obvious bidding, technical or administrative error. International Auctioneers Group may withdraw, combine, separate or relist any asset before completion of the sale.

6. Assets Sold “As Is, Where Is”
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all assets are offered on an “as is, where is” basis, with all faults and without warranties. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the asset, checking its condition, ownership documents, tax status, customs requirements, repair needs, compatibility and suitability for their intended purpose. Descriptions and photographs do not replace personal inspection.

7. Deposits, Payments and Fees
Where required, bidders must pay a refundable deposit before being approved to bid. The applicable auction notice will state the deposit amount, payment method and refund conditions. Successful bidders must pay the full purchase price, buyer’s premium, taxes, customs duties, storage charges and any other stated fees within the payment period. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the sale, forfeiture or application of the deposit as permitted by the auction conditions, resale of the asset, liability for any shortfall, reasonable costs and losses, and suspension from future auctions. No asset may be released until all required payments, approvals and legal formalities have been completed.

8. Collection, Transfer and Risk
Successful bidders must collect purchased assets within the stated collection period. All loading, transport, export, registration, customs clearance, insurance and related costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Risk in an asset passes to the buyer as stated in the relevant auction conditions, or upon release to the buyer where no alternative condition is stated. Storage charges may apply to assets not collected on time.

9. Compliance and Prohibited Conduct
Users must comply with all applicable laws, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, anti-bribery, export-control, customs, tax and data-protection requirements. Users must not submit false identities, documents or payment information; collude, manipulate bids or interfere with an auction; use automated tools to place bids without written approval; access another user’s account; introduce malware or disrupt the website or bidding platform; or use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity. We may report suspected illegal activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations.

10. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, logos, designs, images, reports and trademarks, belongs to International Auctioneers Group or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may use the website for lawful personal or business purposes only. The website may use cookies and similar technologies to support functionality, security and analytics.

12. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, logistics providers or online platforms. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. International Auctioneers Group is not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, International Auctioneers Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from website use, bidding, asset condition, loss of opportunity, technical interruptions, third-party services or delays outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this website with its effective date. Continued use of the website after publication means that you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the IAG operating company responsible for the relevant service or auction, unless the auction-specific conditions provide otherwise. Any dispute should first be raised with us in writing so that we can seek an amicable resolution. If it cannot be resolved, the dispute shall be handled by the competent courts or agreed dispute-resolution mechanism stated in the relevant auction conditions.
